I’m a Scottish artist specialising in floral drawings that are original, fresh and visually arresting. My art is inspired by the natural world from seeding and budding, to wilting and decay. Life at its most bountiful and cruellest forms are key themes throughout the work. Each piece is created by paint pouring with some manipulation and help from gravity then finished in archival ink. Mediums used are acrylic and ink on watercolour or acrylic paper. Inspiration comes from Margaret Macintosh, Dorathea Lange and Vincent Van Gogh – with a dash of surrealism.
