I’m an artist living in Perthshire who creates colourful collages using recycled maps and atlases as the source material. I carefully select and hand cut individual map sections, then meticulously arrange these to flow naturally into each other, allowing the image to come alive. Oceans and seas merge to form dramatic skies, while countries with their mountains, forests and cities combine to create lush greenery, flowers and wildlife.

The collages cover a wide range of subjects including Scottish wildlife, Scottish landmarks, birds, animals, flowers, and even planes and boats.

Places of specific interest are often included to give relevance to the subject.
