Janet Bloxwich

I am a completely self taught artist and enjoy painting land and seascapes in oils and acrylics. Having retired from a busy life as a professional musician – Principal Bassoon in the Orchestra of Scottish Opera – I now have more time for painting and hill walking. The inspiration for my paintings comes from holidays in the north of Scotland and the Lake District – the ever changing weather and light is always fascinating.
