Lorna Finlayson

My name is Lorna, and I have always been drawn to creativity. My father was an artist, and as a child I would watch him paint, completely in awe of what he could create.

I came to painting later in life, finding inspiration mainly in the beauty and atmosphere of the Scottish islands. Many of my paintings are created while travelling in my Motorhome, where the changing landscapes, light and weather continually inspire my work.

Through painting I try to capture not only the scenery, but also the feeling and quiet spirit of the places I visit.
