Submitted work to the annual exhibition for the first time in 2025. Pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic response. I have a larger number of pieces to bring along this year, mainly wooden bowls or platters, mostly using recycled wood. I hand polish the bowls to extreme smoothness, using increasing fineness of sandpaper, then add several coats of oil for a glass-like shine, which brings out the beauty of the grain, and often makes the surface iridescent.
